Honesty and transparency
You hear what we actually found, what it will take, and what it will cost — before the work starts.
Who we are
MMX IT Services opened its doors on 3 February 2009 and has been owner-run ever since by Jacques Laubscher, an IT and electronics engineer. That matters in practice: the person who quotes you is the person who understands the work.
Every business is different, so we start by getting to know yours — how it runs, what it depends on, and what its IT is actually being asked to do. Long professional relationships are the point of the exercise — when a client calls, we would rather already know their environment than have to learn it under pressure.

Our approach
Anyone can be called out when a server falls over. Our work is to make that call unnecessary — and when something does go wrong, to already know your setup well enough to put it right quickly.
We start with your business, not your equipment — what you do, what you depend on, and what you expect from IT.
A proper look at what you are running now: hardware, software, how it is configured and where the weak points are.
We write up what we found and what we recommend, in clear instructions, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Once you are happy with the plan, we carry it out — on site or remotely, whichever the work calls for.
Ongoing support, so the setup stays in working order instead of drifting back into trouble.
What we stand on
You hear what we actually found, what it will take, and what it will cost — before the work starts.
Explained in plain language. IT is our field, not yours, and it is our job to make it understandable.
We aim to assist in the shortest possible time, and no problem is too small to bring to us.
Who we work with
We have worked across a wide range of businesses, which means we have usually seen something close to your setup before. Among them:
The industry matters less than the equipment. If you run computers, a server or a network, we can almost certainly help — and if we cannot, we will say so rather than take the work.
